Weekly Photo Challenge: Frame

Picture of tree canopy at sunset

To lie on my back and gaze at the sky framed through a canopy of trees is perhaps one of my favorite pastimes. At any given point in our existence, we are ultimately in control of how we frame our view of the world. Of the few things I know for sure, it’s a given the play of sunlight filtering through leaves can work wonders in alleviating stress or lifting a bad mood. This week’s photo challenge serves to remind me how life really is all about the perspective we choose to see it with.

  1. lovely framing – thank you for sharing. your sentiment on life and perspective struck a chord.

i was reminded of an unexpected meeting with a stranger who took a risk and suggested a different perspective for capturing a sunset that illustrates this, and i think you might enjoy it – so my link is to that post rather than my ‘frame’ entry for this challenge. 🙂

  2. Most times maturity in life has to do with being in control of how we frame our view of the world. Love the photograph and words, dear Jeri… Best wishes! Aquileana 🙂

    • Denise, I’m entirely convinced the population in general does not watch enough sunrises or sunsets. One of the best things about working breakfast shifts back in the day in the Everglades was being able to catch a ton of great sunrises over the bay.
