Weekly Photo Challenge: Curve

Image of Leslie Gulch sunset

Leslie Gulch is located in southeast Oregon a mere hour-and-a-half drive from my house near Boise. It’s hard to believe I had never made it out there before, and now I can’t wait to go back. It was like Zion National Park with its abundance of red rock formations, only not many people visit due to the gulch’s remote location. This picture was taken at sunset after a day of exploring the trails in the area. The eerie high desert silhouette of the desert rock is a fitting candidate for this week’s photo challenge.

    • Denise, when my friend and I were sitting and watching the sun go down, we talked about how evening air just seems so much sweeter and magical and soft than at any other time of the day. It truly is.
