Weekly Photo Challenge: Future

picture of seattle's monorail

Seattle’s monorail was built as part of the 1962 World’s Fair. It still runs at ten-minute intervals, and the route takes only two minutes to cover. I didn’t ride when I visited, though might the next time I make it that way. Interestingly enough, few photos in my archive communicated the theme of this week’s photo challenge, but no worries as the feel of this photo is decidedly futuristic. Alas, I live in a an area that still has a long way to go to improve its public transportation.
