Weekly Photo Challenge: Silhouette

Picture of flower silhouette

This photo represents how my photography hobby has developed alongside hubby’s fly fishing hobby. It’s proven a good balance to keep us both occupied when spending time in nature. I’ve been told told this flower is called Queen Anne’s Lace and is also known as wild carrot. This shot was taken at sunset along the banks of the Bull River in northwest Montana. Upon seeing  how this week’s photo challenge called for a silhouette, this picture instantly came to mind. What I wouldn’t give to be walking the banks of a river right now…

  1. I love how nailed this picture, book ending the other two with the one in the middle, Jeri! Your Friday post here is like opening a little blogger gift at the end of each week! 🙂 Oh, yes please on the Bull River. I’ve been a bit north of there in Libby after we backpacked in Glacier! You put a smile on my face….thank you! 🙂
